FAQ

1. Why are you now charging for the read-only pdf worksheets?
   Not through choice!
   These worksheets have been freely available for around 8 years now, and many many people have made good use of them.
   However, with a massive change in my personal circumstances, I have little recourse and am basically forced down this path. The alternative would see this site close and my being unable to develop further materials.
   
   I have kept the price as low as possible (you only have to compare my price with other similar commercial packages to see the value for money this price represents).
    
2. Are any more worksheets to be developed?
   Absolutely!
   I am about to embark on a program of creating many more worksheets for this section.
    
3. If I purchase the worksheets, will I receive all future worksheets at no extra cost?
   Yes. I will send them out by e-mail. This will be done after the addition of a certain number of new worksheets as appropriate.
    
4. Can I make suggestions as to which worksheets I would like to see added?
   Please do!
    
5. If I purchase the worksheets, can I use them in the classroom?
   Absolutely.  Photocopy them as many times as required for your students.  This holds for both the National Curriculum worksheet package (in pdf format) and the original Word documents.
    
6. What is the difference between the package of National Curriculum worksheets in pdf form and the package of original Word documents?
   Quite a lot!
   
   The package of NC worksheets in pdf format include the National Curriculum worksheets only (over 230 and growing!)
   These files cannot be edited or altered in any way. This package is intended to be purchased by a school and made available to all staff etc.
   
   The package of original Word documents goes far beyond the National Curriculum package (including over 100 MB of original documents) and is only available on an individual basis.  This package is not for purchase by an educational establishment as the materials are intended for those wishing to tailor the materials as appropriate.  The only exception are those instances where a school is purchasing the materials on behalf of a named individual etc. Schools wishing to purchase the equivalent of a 'site licence' for the Word documents will need to e-mail me with their requirements etc.
    
7. If I purchase the worksheets, can my colleagues also use them?
   Only if the National Curriculum worksheet package in pdf format is purchased and registered in the name of your school.
   The original Word documents are for the use of the individual who purchases them only. See the above question.
    
8. If I purchase the original Microsoft Word documents, can I use them to create my own resources - and can I pass on my newly created materials / sell them ?
   You can certainly use them to create your own resources. However, in terms of passing on the newly created materials, the licence basically requires that any documents resulting from such alterations must contain an original element of the licensee's own material - at least 50%.  Only if this condition is met can the licensee assert any right of ownership over the documents in question. This is simply to protect my own rights of ownership etc.

9. Can you e-mail or post an invoice before a purchase is made so that my school can make payment?
   No problem.  Just e-mail me the name of your school and which package you are interested in.
