The various schemes of work within this section are available in portable document (p.d.f.) format in order to preserve formatting. They are also available (upon request) in their original Word 97 / 2003 format.

The following schemes of work are based upon the AQA GCSE specification A syllabus.

The schemes are divided into a series of short units in either Number, Calculation, Algebra, Shape and Space and Data Handling.

Each unit comprises:

  • a list of specification objectives detailing topics to be taught
  • corresponding and desired learning outcomes.
  • indications, where appropriate, of opportunities for ICT, Literacy and Citizenship within the topics to be taught
