Count to one million. The idea, whilst working in groups, is for students to decide how long it would take an individual to count to 1 million. This requires students to make various assumptions in order to progress beyond a certain point and also to decide upon units of time and questions of accuracy etc. The aim is for each group to construct (and present) a 'reasonably realistic' solution! |
